Arrangements to visit and examine the site in accordance with Document 00 20 00-General Instructions to Bidders may be made by contacting Basel Bakeer, phone 217-333-4336. A site visit will follow the pre-bid conference at 11:30 AM. Meet at the main entry of the Student Services Arcade Building, 713 S. Wright St., Champaign; PPE is required.

Description

Description

The scope of work includes removal of existing roofing, flashings, and related material at the UIUC Arcade Building and installation of new roofing, flashings and related material. The current roof is a blend of clay tile shingles and BUR system. The BUR roof system to be replaced with an 80 mil PVC. The clay tile shingles will be salvaged and reinstalled with a percent allowance for replacement of damaged tiles. Additional work includes select repointing, coping replacement/reinstallation, installation of exterior access ladders, and an access door to the roof at the existing stair.
